NORTHERN ELITE VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY
Where family and competition come together.
At Northern Elite Volleyball Academy, we believe the court is more than a place to play—it’s a place to belong. Our “ohana” (family) culture builds strong connections, teamwork, and respect, while our training program develops athletes from their first touches to their most competitive moments.
Whether you’re starting your journey or chasing championships, we create an environment where players grow with confidence, push their limits, and celebrate each other’s success.
Here, it’s not just volleyball. It’s ohana.

Danielle Scott
Danielle Scott has been with our NEVA Ohana going on her 4th year as a parent of a player and also one of our coaches. This upcoming season Danielle decide to be a consultant to our club helping out our coaches and players when she can, she wanted to learn from everyone and help out our new coaches here at NEVA. Even with this new role, Danielle is still rooted to our culture and will be a key success to our NEVA Ohana.
Danielle has been in the sport Volleyball most of her life, she is a proud graduate of Intermountain Christian School, class of 1998. She played all 4 years there and along her career she accumulated a lot of accolades. She was All-Region 1st team, All-Region Tournament, 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-Star in 1997. Salt Lake Tribute Player of the Week, Which she states when newspapers was still being used, and had a big interview and article, which she is proud of.
With all the success Danielle has had on the volleyball court, her education was equally successful, after graduating from high school, she continued her education by attending the U, and furthered her education in California at UC San Diego School of Pharmacy in 2007.
If she isn't coaching or working she is definitely spending time with her family, Her husband Rich, and her daughter Natalie, whom is a current NEVA player. Besides her husband and daughter she has 2 awesome parents and 2 younger siblings Brooke(former NEVA coach, now in Florida) and John.
In her free time, Danielle likes to water-ski, read, and most of all spend time with her family.
As a coach, she feels there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the players grow, not only as athletes but also good human beings. In her near future, she said "still being healthy and happy and of course coaching."
we asked Danielle, "why NEVA?" she states NEVA incorporates sportsmanship and team camaraderie into the game in addition to individual skill building. when coming back from the off-season in club, she and her daughter always comments, "Man it's good to be home." That's the feeling of being part of the NEVA Ohana.
we here at NEVA is so blessed to have Coach Danielle and Natalie with us. as the season is just around the corner, we can't wait as well to have our coaches and players back home. NEVA peeps when you see Coach Danielle on your court give her a hug, for she is back home.
